Paris is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, with 45 million tourists every year in the Paris Region, 60% of whom are foreign visitors. There are numerous iconic landmarks among its many attractions, along with world-famous institutions and popular parks. President Sarkozy also launched in 2008 an international urban and architectural competition for the future development of metropolitan Paris. Ten teams which bring together architects, urban planners, geographers, landscape architects will offer their vision for building a Paris metropolis of the 21st century in the Kyoto Protocol era and make a prospective diagnosis for Paris and its suburbs that will define future developments in Greater Paris for the next 40 years. Meanwhile, in an effort to boost the global economic image of metropolitan Paris, several skyscrapers (300 m (984 ft) and higher) have been approved since 2006 in the business district of La Défense, to the west of the city proper, and are scheduled to be completed by the early 2010s. Paris authorities also made public they are planning to authorise the construction of skyscrapers within the city proper by relaxing the cap on building height for the first time since the construction of the Tour Montparnasse in the …

Thank you Horacio for sending this as a response to my “Spring in Paris”. They go well together although i’ve never had such a psychedelic point of view of the city!! (especially the beginning!). have you seen my firt montage “paris at night”. It’s still my favourite… so cold when I took the pictures+ discovery of window movie maker+ great interpretation of sib major presto of the sib major concerto per cello (vivaldi) by Davide Amadio.
Thank you for your comments, Violet. And also for addresing me to your “paris at night”. It is really a very good video, I put my 5* on it, as it deserves. I am sharing with you my only video at night in Paris, I hope you will enjoy it. You have done a very good work with the Windows Movie Maker also. I cann’t enjoy the music as you do, but I liked your selection. Best regards, Horacio

Thank you very much for your comment, Paris is a romantic City, it has so many beautiful places to see. I’m glad that you’ve enjoyed it. Best regards. Horacio
been living there for a decade now… with time you tend to forget that you are living in such an astounding place… I’m so lucky ! however, like in every major city: sometimes stressful
@MrLacidaremlamano: Thank you very much for your comment, Same thing happens here in Buenos Aires, a beautiful city, quite similar to Paris, with Palaces built in the early twentieth century that are still holding. (You have to go for a walk by the City, instead of going to work, to enjoy a city). I would like to walk along the Seine, if I could!. Best regards. Horacio
no need to visit the middle east
check my videos
@TheUser501 what do you mean ???
@bobduvar: Thank you very much for the comment, Paris is an amazing city, really. The times that we have visited it, it has fascinated us. Memories are always in our hearts and desire to visit the City and admired it more. A warm greeting. Horacio
@hmarevalo i love Paris too, also i’m not parisian, i live in south east of France by the mediterranean sea. warm greetings from Côte d’Azur…..
@bobduvar: What an incredible place to live!. I’ve visited in 1965, (just a few years ago), but I never forgot the wonder of Côte d’Azur and its Cities along the Sea.Several times we wanted to go, but always choose another way, when we went to Europe, there are so many places to visit … It’s something that we should, no doubt about it. Regards. Horacio
@hmarevalo thank u Horacio and have a wonderful trip in France in each and every countryside from North to South and East to West……. There is one thing we like to share is our culture : wine, gastronomy, history and many else….
There is one thing i want to add : 1965 is my year of birth in a small town close to Marseilles….hahahahahahahahahaha Au revoir…..
@bobduvar: I think that you have much more, as we experienced on our trip to Spain last January. Almost 5,000 years of history, 2,500 of them with monuments that can be enjoyed today. The mixture of civilizations, which enriched and configured your cultures. Wonderful landscapes and charming towns widely distributed and so much more … In 1965 I was in Marseille but I do not remember almost anything, really. Many greetings.
