Anyone ever stay at the Hotel Tilsitt in Paris?

I am going to Paris and would like to know of a good hotel to stay in. I am interested in staying in the Champs Elysees district. I have read about the Hotel Tilsitt on Trip Advisor and wonder whether anyone knows of it or any other decent and not too pricey hotels in the area.

    The American Hotel in next to the Embassy, its affordable, nice enough and near the area you want to stay, within walking distance, Paris is very pricey though, take a lot of money or credit cards.
