Is Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel a safe area?

We will be traveling to Paris in July and will be staying at the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel. Is this area safe? We want to see the tourist attractions – the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, etc. Thanks!

Yes, it’s fine. That neighborhood is on the south side of the city which is fairly residential and quiet. It’s not very close to the main tourist attractions, which are mostly along the river in the city center. However it’s far from Paris’ few trouble spots in the north.
