Online blogs, shows dedicated to celebrity gossip, and Paris Hilton on CNN. Should celebrities be reported on in this fashion? Is it important? Does America need this? Does the average American really want to know that kind of information?
But most celebrities are people who at one time in their lives actively sought public attention, isn’t that sort of asking for the "invasion of privacy"? If they don’t want to be in the spotlight, they could always drop out of it as many celebrities have done in the past.
And most celebrities do like the attention because it gives them publicity.
