Oh Paris

I am going to Paris in a week with a college buddy. We will be there over my birthday. She wants to take me out to a nice restaurant in Paris. Does anyone have any recommendations of a place to go to that serves good, authentic French food? We don’t want top of the line, but want a nice place to eat. (we’ll be eating in crappy place for the rest of the time )
