Oh Paris

I’m trying to find out if "brasserie" type restaurants in Paris require reservations. I’m going to call ahead at one that I’ve found on the web, so I want to know the French for "are walk-ins welcome?"

The place I’ve found is supposed to do lunch and dinner ’til 2am, so if to experienced travelers that just means "hey, stupid of course you don’t need reservations for a place like that" just let me know.

In october me and my boyfriend are going to paris to go sightseeing but we were worried that all the restaurants in paris are really up market and we won’t like the food or it is to expensive. Thank you if you answer
