I’m treating my boyfriend to a trip to Paris for 2 nights for his birthday. I haven’t been to Paris in AGES and I’m a bit skint. I would love to get my boyfriend a gorgeous hotel that doesn’t break the bank…any suggestions?

I am planning a trip to Paris via the Eurostar from London. I have loads of points at intercontinental hotel group (holiday inn, Crown Plaza etc) so would like to stay in one of their hotels as it will not cost me anything.
Where would people recommend staying in Paris in one of these hotels? Also how far away are they from the Eurostar Station and how expensive-ish to get to from the station?
I am taking my wife for a surprise trip to Paris to celebrate a milestone birthday. I was considering the Eiffel Tower restaurant until I found out that dinner there is around 0. Has anyone been to a great restaurant that is a little more reasonable?
If you could steer me to any websites or travel books that you found to be real gems with reliable recommendations, that would be appreciated as well.

Im thinking about planning a trip to paris. I would love a rom with a view, but my trouble is I dont know any hotels, neighborhood, sites, local parks, etc.
I would love to wake up, open the window shades and stare at a park, or the eiffel tower.
